La mayoria aqui entendemos que esto es un proceso; hacer estos cortos es una escuela; hay que practicar, cometer errores y exponerse al ridiculo para aprender. Si eso te parece estupido no hay problema. Yo creo que es un triunfo (contra la vagancia, la inercia, las excusas para no hacer nada, la falta de dinero, la falta de tiempo, el conformismo, el miedo al ridiculo...) Pero dale: sigue sentado ahi viendo mierdas en youtube, eso es bien facil (es lo que yo hago todo el dia). Como critica constructiva estoy de acuerdo. Hay un poco de changueria y titubeo en algunas partes. Se podria bregar con eso haciendo varias tomas y editando mas. (Aunque no se le puede quitar toda la changueria porque eso es parte del estilo de los personajes. Seria como pedirle a Ricky Gervais en The Office que sea mas maduro; hay gente que lo odia y gente que lo ama). Anyway, aqui dando mi opinion personal tambien.

Pero que morones, los videos son arte y no se cuestionan, pues son como son. No todo se hace por una razón, es negro porque es negro, eso es todo. Se pueden tener conversaciones inteligentes sobre arte, ?cómo no? En última instancia se trata de gusto, tienes razón. Pero entre gente que comparte cierto gusto por algo se puede conversar sobre como hacerlo mas cabron, hacer comparaciones, ver que cosas se pueden mejorar, etc. Todos los buenos artistas y comediantes pasan por ese proceso. Tarantino hizo películas regulares antes de hacer Pulp Fiction; y Ricky Gervais dice que su mejor crítica es el publico inteligente (si se rien de sus stand ups eso le indica que tiene buen material). Y cuando se aspira a hacer buen cine la critica (y auto-critica) es parte del proceso, no es algo de morones, al contrario. Y es parte de cómo uno disfruta el arte también ¿tu no crees? Yo cada vez que veo una buena película converso con mis panas sobre ella; me imagino que tu también. ESOEZ es un vacilón y me disfruto mucho venir aquí de vez en cuando. Anyway, hoy día ya nada de eso importa, pues el propósito es hacer de 100 millones 800 millones. Un director puede poner el cielo color negro en una escena y no necesariamente es porque el quiere llevar un mensaje de vida o muerte ni nada de estas idioteces. En muchas ocasiones hacen las cosas así, porque le salió de las bolas ponerlo negro y que?
Los críticos son y siempre serán frustrados incompetentes que se creen inteligentes por cuestionar cosas que no hay porque cuestionar, pues son como son.
Pero si de vez en cuando hay un director con otras intenciones, de mensajes a través de colores u objetos.
No es drama ni tiraera. Es pasarla bien hablando sobre lo que nos gusta. (ESOEZ: gracias por crear debate; eso es bueno para la democracia; una buena práctica para aclarar nuestras ideas y tratar de entendernos mejor). Anonimo tienes razón en parte pero simplificas demasiado algunas cosas. Hay decisiones bien arbitrarias y bien personales que toman los directores. Pero hay muchas cosas que se pueden criticar y es un ejercicio interesante tratar de hacerlo, no creo que sea una perdida de tiempo (uno aprende mucho examinando las obras a otro nivel; no solo los críticos frustrados sino también la gente que queremos hacer cine). Es cierto que a fin de cuentas no se pueden reducir las cosas a reglas y formulas; pero no se puede negar que hay trabajos mal editados, actores que se salen de personaje, malos trabajos de camara, historias predecibles, y un monton de “defectos” más que la gente que le gusta el arte puede tratar de entender conversando sobre las cosas que ve en vez de reducirlo todo a “me gustó” o “no me gustó”. Sí te gustó, pero el punto (si a uno le da la gana por supuesto) es tratar de explicar un poco los gustos. No estoy hablando del corto; estoy siguiendo un poco el debate sobre el tema del arte. El corto es experimental y hay muchas cosas que hay que dejar pasar.
Si bla bla, estoy de acuerdo con lo que Spielberg y su amante. No obstante, la mejor manera de criticar es agarrar una cámara y hacer un mejor trabajo como lo has mencionado. Mejor historia, mejores tiros de cámara, etc. Lo que si admiro de estoy chicos es que hacen cosas diferentes. No la misma basura que filman la mayoría de los puertorriqueños. Si no es una película de pegaera de cuernos es algo relacionado a drogas y caserios.
